Join us for Inland California Rising – Stockton Regional Summit on Friday, September 20th, 2019.  This event will be hosted by Mayor Michael D. Tubbs (Stockton, CA) in partnership with the Inland California Rising leadership. Please join us at the University of the Pacific’s DeRosa University Center from 8:30am to 8:30pm
Inland California Rising is based on a simple premise — the state’s future critically depends on building a strong and vibrant Inland California and growing public, private, and philanthropic investments in the region. This premise has powerful support from across a variety of stakeholders, including statewide philanthropic leaders, the legislature, and the Governor.
For the first time ever, leaders from the Central Valley and Inland Empire are working together to shine a light on Inland California’s assets and opportunities, increasing investments and shaping policies that enable us to reach our full potential.
Inland California Rising – Stockton Regional Summit will showcase the best we have to offer on:
  • Education: Building a cradle-to-career pipeline that focuses on expanding equitable educational opportunity.
  • Environment: Creating community-first solutions and healthy living spaces for the people experiencing the greatest impacts of climate change.
  • Opportunity: Developing  inclusive, people-centered economic empowerment strategies
  • Infrastructure: Investing in equitable models of talent development, digital infrastructure, and transportation.
The issues impacting our communities are systemic and profound, but they are surmountable and together we will chart a course forward for Inland California.
